The Madereira Portal Kit is registered at IBAMA and selling certified wood with DOF (Document of Forest Origin), which proves the legal origin of the wood. Our suppliers are also registered and have a Plan for Sustainable Forest Management. The DOF was established by Ordinance No. 253 of 18 August 2006 the Ministry of the Environment - MMA - and is a compulsory license for the control of product transport and forest by-product of native origin. This document accompanies necessarily the product or native forest by-product from origin to destination thereunder. The Sustainable Forest Management is the management of the forest to obtain economic, social and environmental benefits, respecting the Fingering object ecosystem support mechanisms and considering, cumulatively or alternatively, the use of multiple timber species, multiple products and non-wood products, as well as the use of other forest goods and services.
